About Us.

Nomad is a new concept store in the heart of Albert Park Village:

(194 Bridport Street, Albert Park, 3206).

Created by the artist Yenny Huber (www.yenny.com.au) and her partner and entrepreneur Ricardo Amare.

The project connects their passion for art, fashion, design and food drawing from influences from all around the world.

With Ricardo’s heritage in Mexico and Spain, Yenny’s in Austria and Norway, both founders have led a truly nomadic life-style for many years, living both in their home-countries as well as in Paris, the UK and US before settling in Australia a few years ago.

Nomad is a space where they can share their experiences, discoveries and inspirations with a wider audience, bringing together cultures from around the world.

Mexican artisans will show alongside unique designers from the fashion capitals of Europe as well as Australia, specializing on unique one-off pieces and special commissions from young artists.

The Nomad space needs to be experienced more like a gallery then a boutique, a place where fashion becomes fascinating. With special store  installations changing regularly, creating a walk-in-experience for the viewer, Nomad aims to stimulate all the senses and is selling everything from the decor itself to the finest designer pieces and artwork.

In the back of the store the door opens up to the unique Nomad Terraza where Mexican tapas are served in a lush eclectic garden environment, full of little artifacts and exotic plants. On special days throughout the month a Mariachi band or spanish guitar might surprise the costumers and occasional movie  screenings and DJ’s will complement the regular culinary experiences.
